I think all of their own dates have been rescheduled and they have kept the Festival Dates as they were...... I'm pretty annoyed with it too, not so much with the rescheduling, that happens, but the having to send the tickets back via Registered Post to TM, can't make the Oct date as I'll be at a Fest in the UK...........I could try and go to the date they have in the same venue as the Fest the night before it, but then I'd just go two days earlier and take in the Alterbridge/Shinedown/Halestorm date that's just been announced for Nottingham.......the divorce might just be too expensive.....

Haha, October date doesn't really suit me either - it's my daughters 2nd birthday, so we will have family up for cake. Going to have to rush them out of the house to get her asleep & out the door.

I am going but not one bit excited ! New album is not growing on me at all ! Love Queensryche so I hope they rock the joint live !

is this still a tour for the first five albums, or are they promoting the new album now?

The last available Setlist on Setlist FM had 2 tracks from the new album ! I cant imagine them just playing the old stuff still at this stage !

I thought the new album was the best stuff they've done in years (admittedly that wouldn't be too hard a feat)

Still advertised as a "History / Hits" tour ... will probably only get 2 - 3 songs from the new album ....

It looks like we can expect three numbers off the new album tonight. Fine by me! :D

Just a 'warning' :D the gig is in the Button Factory and not Academy as listed at the top of this thread. Main band on stage 8.45.

They seem to be rotating the inclusion of "Roads to Madness" and "Silent Lucidity".

Curious as both should be mainstays in the setlist.

"Jet City Woman" I can do without.

Well that was ****ing class. I'd like to see Geoff Tate's sh*t version of queensryche try to compete with that! Last time I saw them was on the mindcrime 2 tour in London and this was ten times better.

The new guy is unreal. Like a young version of Tate only miles better. I'd just heard he was in a reunited Crimson Glory as Midnight's replacement before being snapped up by the 'ryche. Now that is something I'd like to hear.

Sound and performance was very good. The reconfiguration of the layout in The Button Factory is ridiculous. The floor area to a lot smaller now with the new separate bar area making the venue much more confined. Anyway, Queensryche gave an excellent performance none the less. The singer and drummer in particular were superb.

Best gig I've ever been to in my live. ****ing unbelievable!

Fantastic performance. The new singer is an absolute beast.

Thought the crowd was really good too.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Anyone got a picture of the new layout in the BF?

This might give you a rough idea. Bar on the right, you can see the shutter. Wall been put back in with drapes over it.

epic gig, Even better then I remember them from '91 or so..

Its rare for me to say this but the new singer makes the band BETTER.

Pity about the button factory mind you, what an absolutly retarded layout for a concert venue!!

    nice photos above, Poundhound

here is a photo of the setlist

I think the main bar is being refurbished and that is why the entrance is the way it was on Friday night.

Usually the merchandise is near the bar on the right hand side as you enter the venue

The new bar at the back is facing the opposite way to where it was previously making a separate bar area. It's completely refurbished and was open at the Queensrÿche gig.

    My mistake!:o

I didn't go into the bar,

When I was at Nile I asked someone about that partition at the back of the standing area and I understood from what they said about the bar being refurbished that it was just a temporary wall.

At some of the less noisy type gigs, you'd often hear chatter going on in the background at the bar, so perhaps the wall being where it is now might help cut that out.

I have Geoff Tates setlist from the SFX show in 1990.

It has his footprint on it!

Well, its probably only second to getting his autograph :)

Does it have the date and venue typed on it, its nice when they have that extra detail!:)

The one from The Who in the O2 last June has Dublin typed at the bottom of the page, as does the setlist from Soundgarden in the O2 last month
