    Budget ?

You will get to the stoop in 30 minutes from central London from Waterloo so you don't need to limit yourself

Budget I guess would be to the lower end :D Don't plan on spending too much time there, just a roof over the heads.

Will offer my couch in exchange for a pair of match tickets...

if you don't have any spare, then what who the fug said. Anywhere near Waterloo or on the District Line (Hammersmith?) will be fine. Richmond and Twickenham are very handy to get to from all over London. I've also checked and at this point in time there's no planned engineering works for the lines in question for that weekend.

To get to the stoop from Central London, we always go from Waterloo to Twickenham on the overground , the hairy quims are a good laugh, buggers won't play us at the stoop any more

Look at a hotel in Zone 1/2 and that will keep all your options open
