    Hi all, I'm not a carer myself but my Dad cares for my Mum in Ireland (I live in England) and my mother-in-law is a carer to my father-in-law.

    I thought it might be a good idea if people could post any links to resources that they think might be of use for carers. It could be links to various patient societies, citizens information, useful websites etc., anything you think is useful.

    First off I'll link to:
    Parkinson's Association of Ireland
    Secondly I'll link to a website with info on caring for PD patients:

    Unfortunately there is no society in Ireland who help patients like my Mum as her disease is so rare :(
