    Hi folks
I have a 77 mini 998 that is a mess in the electrical department
Anyone any idea how much it would cost for a full re-wire and any recommendation on someone who could do it?
    I'm in south Dublin area

    Cheers

If it needs a full rewire buy a new loom here
http://www.autosparks.co.uk/index.php?cPath=150 €250 then get someone to fit or do it yourself even not much to it in a mini .

Fitting a loom is not as complicated as you'd think. I got tired of waiting on a friend to help me refit the loom in the lancia that I decided to have a go myself and once I got familiar with the wiring diagram it went in easy as pie.

The easiest way to do it is stick labels on the old loom as you remove it so you will have a reference to fit the new one.

These have the function written on the wires every few inches.

I re-wired a 1980 Mini 1000 about 20 years ago. Apart from the cramped working conditions it was fairly straightforward. The car is still alive and well :)
I followed the Haynes manual for the most part
