I'm looking to put down some sort of timber sheeting on the floor of the spare room so my daughter can practice her dancing with the heavy shoes. Has anyone done this? What type of sheeting did you use? I was thinking of putting down a few 4x8' sheets of wallboard and duct taping it to the floor I have seen at some of the Feiseanna I have been to.

I was involved in a few "crossroads ceilidh's" in Cabinteely and they put down a deck of 6mm MDF sheets taped together with duct tape.

They only used 6 mm MDF because it was one use only.

The deck was laid on top of tarmac.
