I recently joined the 21st century and got myself a smart phone.
Now want to upgrade my earphones from the ones that were supplied with it, however I want to be sure that the microphone function for taking phone calls will work on whatever new pair I get.

Do all earphones/microphones work with all mobile phones? Is there universal compatibility; or do I need to get a pair specific for my type of phone?

My phone has only been recently brought on the market, its a Huawei Ascend G330, and google hasn't brought me any matches.

Could anybody recommend a pair?
I'm not to fussy, just a all round decent, robust pair for about ~€20.
