Video Link to house next door

I have a friend who's parents live in the same estate as her just 100 yards away. Her dad is in a wheel chair and she is looking away to be able to keep an eye on him via a camera if her mum pops out of the house. There is a direct line of sight so maybe a wireless solution would work. Or some sort of internet camera system.

Any suggestions appreciated.

would a baby monitor reach that distance.....


You might not see but you will hear. You can buy ones with cameras but they dont work over this distance.

Aside from that you can use an ip camera which people willadvise you plenty off on this forum

No they'd want to be able to see whats happening.

if both houses have broadband then remote monitoring using the built in server in the dvr otherwise a 4 channel wireless cctv transmission kit
