Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do people think hitting the crossbar is unlucky rather than a miss?

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,536 Mod ✭✭✭✭Amirani

Some really good defending by Oldham here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,016 ✭✭✭Hulk Hands

Ever since Downing scored that goal where he cut inside from the right and shot with the left he's tried it about a 100 times. It's like the crap kid from school who once scored a flukey backheel and tries it again every day after

Greedy. Very greedy. Had 4 options there and instead shanked it wide.

Rodgers time me hole. There was a serious Oldham injury.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators Posts: 12,536 Mod ✭✭✭✭Amirani

    That's silly from Sturridge.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

What the fúck is with the shooting from 30 yards crap? Sturridge is hardly renowned for his screamers.

Embarrassment, awful performance, and just shows that the way to beat Liverpool is to get in their faces and impose themselves physically.

Untwist your knickers it was a joke and that injury didn't take up much time.

    6 minutes **** off.

5 or 6 subs plus a few injuries. The guy with the shoulder injury was down for quite a while

    Well done Oldham.

Can't be giving away sloppy goals at critical times in games like that no matter the opposition, rightfully punished.

    Well done to Oldham,

Some lessons learned for Liverpool today

Fair play to them. Some shocking defending from us.

Norwhich out, Villa out, Spurs out, and now Liverpool out.

    FA cup is great :p

:D Hon the Oldham. I'd say Scholesy be delighted with that.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 7,941 Mod ✭✭✭✭Yakult

Tough to lose, but cant help being neutral about the loss after seeing underdogs progress. What soccer is all about. Fair play to them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,889 ✭✭✭✭klose

Got what we deserved there, no fight in the team atall. Very worrying

Congrats to Oldham, monumental effort at the end there. Love these underdog FA cup wins when it's not your team.

Well done Oldham. A mate of mine is an Oldham fan, probably the most excitement he'll see all year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,990 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Great to see a side like Oldham get through against a Premier League team. I'm sure Liverpool fans won't agree but thats what the FA Cup is all about.

Wonder what Rodgers is going to say after this. He usually talks about the future but that doesn't hold water after exiting to a league one team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,064 ✭✭✭✭eh i dunno

Coates looks a good centre half

Very bad result. Still raging with team selection tbh.
Only plus is Luis didn't get injured that's the only positive ...only one

Oldham have lost 7 of the last 8 in League One, drawing the other. Great effort.

    Well done Oldham.

Rodgers got it wrong today and took too long to fix it.

    Disaster.

    Hope Coutinho wasn't watching.
