You have to check whether your printer takes spurious refills, got caught out myself, and they wouldn't give a refund.
Argos is as cheap as those who claim to be cheaper.

Get yourself a refill kit and refill them yourself. I've been refilling mine for ages now. The printer I have I've never bought cartridges for, I just keep refilling the one it came with.

Follow the instructions exactly and only fill with the amount that was originally in the cartridge ie. 6ml in a 6ml cartridge, 12ml in a 12ml cartridge. Also wear latex gloves when you refill. Persist and be patient, it does work.

Black refill kit £5.78 at Amazon, spend another £20 to get free delivery: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Just-Refill-Black-Universal-Starter/dp/B0002ZOJU0/

I get my cartridges refilled at Cartridge World. Usually collect vouchers from Northside people or from leaflets dropped in the letterbox which allow you to pay 10Euro for refill (black or colour).

Mr Price on the Kylemore Rd is doing a great deal on colour refill kits at the mo. Anyone know where in Dublin I can pick up a black ink kit?
