Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This Challenge is 'Slow Shutter Speed'

Since the last one seemed so much fun I thought this was along the same lines. Lots of possibilities with this so have fun but please don't burn/hurt yourself!

Some pictures & info below for anyone who wants ideas or more information, Good luck & Enjoy!

The rules:

-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is 10:00pm on February 10th 2013.
-No old photos.
-Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify, therefore, the photo must be taken after 10:00pm on January 27th 2013.
-ONE photo per post. But submit as many posts as you like.
-Photos must be on the given task.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time

I wonder could we get a bit of publicity for this one as it is the 100th challenge

Just a reminder to any ' newbies' to the Challenge

The rules are quite clear that photos being entered for the Challenge must be taken AFTER the date the Challenge started - NO old photos can be entered.

This evening was driving over to a spot near Maynooth to get a 'slow shutter' shot of the Sligo to Dublin train.

:eek: EEk - stopped by the cops at at checkpoint and asked to blow in a bag- very worried as I had had a glass or 2 with my lunch(watching the Rugby) - but thankfully registered below threshold:P:pac:

But missed the train- 2morrow I hope:cool:

I've looked at many of the pics and competitions on here, and finally I've decided to upload and get involved. Hopefully these comps will allow me to further develop my photography skills. Can photos be embedded from my harddrive or would they have to come through flicker? I can only seem to attach files rather than embed them.
