Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There’s a bit of Lotus about it but I can’t place it.

Made me think of TVR Tasmin (didn't know the name, but that was Google helping me), but I don't think that's it.

    Quite kit-car looking.

    Reliant Scimitar?

I remember there was something less impressive than the Tasmin and I wonder if that's it.

My sister sent me a photo of one of these recently. Apologies for the resolution, but I don't think it will stop some of the skillful spotters here.

Well done. Again I'm amazed at how fast and accurate the suggestions are here. Yiz are hard to keep guessing. : )

    Honda_Jazz_Luzern_1980.jpg

I think I saw this car for the first time this summer while in Lucerne. I see from the URL to the Wikipedia link that that's where this particular car is from. I wonder if it's the same car? There can't be too many small, early 80s Japanese cars around Switzerland.

That Italian Yoke must have been in an early 1990s car mag of my father's. Funny how these things get buried in our memories.

    Nope.

I know what you mean. Somebody slammed opened a door into a hirecar I had a with a crease in it like this. I had to pay €800 for the repair.

For sure I didn't know the name, but I did know there was some sort of Italian RR.

    Nope.

I thought this would be tough because this is such a bland car. I saw one for the first time the other day and was surprised it was just so anonymous.

Here's a bit more of the rolling yawn:

Those door handles and the recesses behind are pure Toyota but I don’t think it’s a Yaris or Aygo.

    Ah. Opel Karl

That's right. It's a very uninspiring looking motor. Not in the spirit of this thread at all, but I thought that was one way to make it tricky.

Looks Ford-ish, if they had continued with that ‘new edge’ styling they were so fond of in the 90s. Like a modern day Ford Cougar
