Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Another clue: its a supercharged 3 cylinder diesel engine with no cylinder head gasket

Sorry for digging up an old post but this is interesting. One of my mates had one of those engines about 25 years ago - he bought a scrap lorry to build a silage trailer on the chassis and back axle, there was one of those Rootes Supercharged Induction Scavenger-blower engines in it. It started on a pull despite not having turned a wheel for many, many years. The engine was extremely powerful. We left it in a corner of a yard for a few years, a bloke turned up one day to buy it and I don't know where it is now. I was only thinking about it in the past day or two, and it popped up here! Any idea what bhp it put out?0 -

He would have been my age so never would have seen one before that!
