Hi I seem to be having a problem every time I close out of boards. Even though I have ticked "stay logged in" it automatically logs me out and then when I try to log in again it won't accept my password and I have to reset it every time? Can you know why this is happening or can you stop this from happening as I use Boards.ie on a regular basis and it is very annoying!

    Thanks
    Michael

Which browser? Did you set it to accept cookies per session only?

My cookie settings are set as:

Allow local data to be set (recommended)

Is this correct or should I set it at something else?

Then try removing the already stored cookies:

under "delete cookies" click the title to expand it to show further instructions.

So you have to do a password reset every time you log in to boards? Why can you not use the same password - what error appears?

    Yes Danny

When I log in (even though I had clicked 'stay logged in') it tells me that Login failed, please try again. But I use the same password each time I reset so I don't understand why it keeps failing.

    thanks

    Hi,

Can you try a different browser like Firefox? This will rule out a browser-specific issue. Next up would be to try a different password - something simpler perhaps with plain letters/numbers?

If you can get back to us with updates on those things then we'll try get this resolved for you.

    Hi Danny,

I setup Firefox and the same thing is happening. I also reset the password to an easier one with just letters and still no success when I log out it still tells me login failed, please try again.

I then reset my password to just numbers and got into write this to you but I know once I log out again I will have to reset again to get in. Thank god I get an email to say you have replied.

Any other suggestions would be grateful.

    THanks

Thanks for getting back to me - can I ask you is it the main site (http://www.boards.ie) or the touch website (http://touch.boards.ie) that you're having issues with, or is it both?

I suspect you might actually be trying to use the mobile site - http://m.boards.ie ?

    Hi madsca,

I believe Niamh here in the office is getting in touch with you to clarify a few things. Once you get that sorted come back to me and let me know if it resolves your issue.

    Thanks,

    Danny

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
