    RVP aka The Postman!

This week is a sure sign of who has RVP or not. It would be almost foolish not to captain him given the other fixtures.

RVP is definitely the obvious option, going for anyone else would be a major differential though.

I'm gonna stick with the safe option though :)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Not if RVP bangs in a hat trick though. Safe option this week. Dude could go bananas.

Well, I don't have RVP, and I can't decide between Walcott (Home but against L'pool) Mata (away to Reading) or Fellaini (but he's been playing deeper recently)

    Leaning towards Mata atm

Whoever captained Fletcher this week has some serious balls.

I dont have RVP, all the rest of my front 7 are away from home, so its a shot in the dark.
TBH, I can see fergie resting rvp this gameweek, his reserve strike force should be more thsn enough for the saints.

Southampton isn't as easy a game as people tend to think it is.

They've been doing well of late. Just ask Chelsea or Everton.

intrigued by the walcott votes...he was my first instinct but im on bale atm... usually though careful thinking supersedes my first instinct in fantasy.

true true but it's OLD TRAFFORD. and i dont even have rvp. seriously tempted to take a hit and downgrade baines to upgrade ba to rooney for the next two weeks.

Some serious scaremongering over RVP going on here. He hasn't played since the Spurs game. Thats 9 days ago, so why would he need to be rested??

RVP is the obvious choice. If you have him and don't captain him at home to Southampton, I don't think you are doing this right!!

If Rvp had of started the cup game at the weekend I wouldnt have giving him the armband but as he didnt its a no brainer to capt him this week. Southampton have been very good defensively lately though with only 12 goals conceded in their last 13 games. Still would expect atleast one goal from rvp.

RVP all the way,United at home should walk this. The game against Fulham was hardly taxing on them & RVP was rested so should be raring to go.

I'd take a repeat of his hattrick from the last time the two teams played.

Tap in merchant RVP gets my vote!

Makes no difference if RVP does well tonight, everyone has him as captain. Along with Mata, Michu, Walcott etc. Them scoring makes no difference.

This week is about Bale and Fellaini!

Captained RVP and moved Clyne to the last spot on the bench

I'm the only one on my paid league of 9 that has RVP captained this week! Really hoping for a great performance now!! Everyone else in the top 5 have Walcott captained.

Surely they forgot about the midweek deadline.

Crap. Feeling a bit worried now. Brought in Mata this gw and put the armband on him. I was thinking that the soton game would be a tricky enough one and that the reading game would provide a lot of goals and hazards absence would benefit mata.

    Not too sure now....

Edit: and i do have RVP since the start and the few times I havent captained him the person I captained got a higher score. Heres hoping.
