    Any news/updates on the road closure on N59?

    Road was closed both ways from 5:30 today with diversions.

    Nothing useful on AA website or on (updated once in a decade)galwaynews.

    Crash on N59 resulting in road closed between Gortacleva /Barna turn off per radio (GBFM) , no other details, saw a good number of emergency vehicles on route as I was heading out of NUIG, tailbacks till at least 8pm - hopefully things were ok for those involved
