    Use your browser, that's pretty much all the old app was anyway, a web app.

    For me(even when i have a wifi connection)

    Pictures won't load
    Comments won't load
    50% of the time i go to the app it says network error and won't allow me browse fb at all

    Think i'll stick to the browser

    Android normally has an option to uninstall updates.

    Go to remove apps and the option should be there when you click on facebook.

    I can go back to the factory version by doing this. It goes from version 2.1 back to version 1.9.2 if i do it on my HTC sensation.

    This only applies to pre-installed or native applications that can't be completely removed.

    You could try using something like friendcaster. Its smaller and much quicker, has colour themes and stuff, a much better app imo.
