Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

'Arry naming two keepers on the bench too. A not so subtle way of saying ''I need more players''

Huge game between Villa and Newcastle tonight. Think the Geordies could be in the poo poo should they not come away with a favorable result.

Also hope that Loic Remy cops onto the offside rule a bit quicker tonight as he won't get as many chances to score as he did against West Ham.

That doesn't look good for Paul Lambert, does it?

Sissoko looks a good little buy for Newcastle, but then again Villa are awful.

Lambert is safe, it's all I ever hear is that's Lambert gone etc.
    He'll see out the season.

Bennett looks the most average player in the prem. He and a lot of the players are not ready the prem.

Nasri is an absolute waste of space

Maybe just a saying in Germany, but a manager, who is told that he is 'safe' and 'that the board is behind him' will get his marching orders sooner than later...

I met Paul Lambert in Dortmund, when he played for Borussia, a decent lad, that's why I feel a bit for him

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

QPR offering nothing going forward here. They're well organised and not giving City many clear cut opportunities but unless something changes City will surely win this game.

Well that won't happen at Villa and with Randy Lerner, at least I'd be very surprised.

Brilliant save by Cesar from Barry there just a few minutes after Hart saved well from Taarabt. Game opening up a bit now.

John O Shea is a clumsy fcuker .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,907 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

City should be about 4-1 up here.

Cesar just made an unreal save to deny Barry and Zab has hit the bar.

And rakes of people at the time said Fergie had made a mistake in letting him go.

O Shea has gone so backwards since he left OT.

Why wouldn't they have? O'Shea fitted in anywhere across the back four at United. He could still do that at United. He doesn't look the same player with weaker players around him. Nobody ever said he was crucial to United, just that he helped maintain a very good standard of defence when other players were injured.

I disagree that he'd still do a good job for United. He's not good enough anymore and hasn't been for a while. I don't think it's anything got to do with the players around him either. The players around him in the Ireland national team have largely stayed the same and his decline in that team has been evident.

Same old story, dominating the play. QPR look dangerous on the counter. But we'll probably win, Dzeko's on for Nasri.

Dzeko came on for the waste of space Nasri, so they certainly in with a better chance now

Have to say Aguero's not been great either. Pleased with Milner though.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

Zabaleta really should have taken that on himself.

Now now Xavi, remember what happened last time you doubted a Mancini substitution.

On a side note, Dzeko is linked to Borussia Dortmund. It's only a rumor, isn't it?

Scott Sinclair on. The baffling substitutions are complete, so now we HAVE to score.
