    Does anyone no of any good sites to rent a flat from a private landlord around the sale area. cant stand agencys! just looking for a small studio/1 bedroom flat from a private landlord as im moving quickly for a job in manchester and really dont want to have to go through paying agency fees/ massive deposits and all. is there any such sites? gumtree doesnt have much

    Find out the names of local newspapers and look for the classifieds section of their website.

    Also try contacting the University and say that you will be moving to Manchester and would like to know about where to look for accommodation. Of course, info you get from them will be student minded so consider it carefully.

    There's a room in my house free in Sale if you are interested. It's through an agency but I'll leave it with you. Alternatively, try Spareroom and Gumtree.
