I have 2 transfers. Help urgently needed.

Presuming you play 3/4/3. If so your 5th defender is too expensive as is your 2nd goalie. Could save money there if needed.

Replacing Ba or Tevez with Lambert/Le Fondre/Pog/Anichebe would release a lot of money for a high quality defence 4/4/2 or maybe even fo Fellaini or Michu to Bale or Gerrard if you wanted.

With the week that's in it I'd nearly go Tevez or Ba (whichever you less want long term) to Le Fondre and then Gibbs to Baines or Evra.

My transfer is obvious this week. It's just a case of who to get in for Gibbs.

When I get rid of him I have 6.4 in the bank. I can afford almost every defender bar four. I'm not sure if I want to go for a pricey defender though. I'd really like to get in Gerrard in place of Fellaini for the double week. If I want to do that then I'll have to go for someone in the 4-4.5 region.

I have, or have had, most of the decent defenders at that price and none of them really fill me with much confidence. Any one have any recommendations?

That was my issue this week too, i would have brought Azpil in but i don't fancy Chelsea to keep a Cs this week so i brought Evra in instead! Davies is a great cheap option if you haven't already got him!

Cuellar is potentially back and at 4.5 isn't too shabby. It was a toss up between Dawson or Davies and him for me, at the moment I don't but might bring him in in 2 GW's. Sunderland have been solid recently

Didn't bother looking at Cuellar. Saw the yellow mark beside his name and ignored him.

I'm tempted by Dawson. Really need someone who isn't injury prone in there though. My defence has been decimated by injuries over the season. I think every injury one of my players has had has been in defence.

Might go for Dawson. Gonna get some food and I'll make my mind up after that.

Dunno how'd you swing it but with Liv dgw coming up Johnson, Agger or if you're puntish maybe Enrique could be the way to go...bear in mind that Liv have a trip to Zenit in between home games with WBA and Swansea that dgw. It's possible that any of the aforementioned could be rested for the trip to Russia tho, and v probable that Stevie dj will be. Food for thought and might help you avoid taking a hit for the dgw.

Used my Jan WC and I went with Sturridge upfront with Liverpool's DGW coming up but steered clear of their defenders. I think he'll get something at City.

out went fletch and shawcross
in davies and giroud

sunder was shocking during the week and i see
nothing from stoke until they improve again
I cant see pool getting anything against city but am worried
they might score so it could go horribly wrong
going with my gut on this one leaving the boys on the bench

Suarez and Gerrard on the bench?! I'd leave Suarez in definitely, Gerrard is another argument altogether.

6.4 leaves you exactly enough to get Agger or Johnson. i'm doing the same transfer but waiting til after Pool's game on Sunday. i'll also be doing Bale to Gerrard

5 cleanies from last 6 at home
this will be the only time ill want a pool defender myself

interesting selection! i'd play both Gerrard and Suarez myself ahead of Taarabt and one of your back four, they're big game players, and City is a big game (also City without Kompany and Yaya will struggle to contain them)

they have not been conceding goals at home lots of clean sheets recently. Id be surprised if they didnt get 1 out of the 2 games.

yep i'd count on both teams to score and you wouldn't rule out Gerrard or Suarez to be involved. i fancy Liverpool to have a good remainder of the season they've showed steady improvement and are scoring well and have shown very good defensive form at home

I'm not quite as bad as rory. I know its my own fault for bringing in that useless fool that is Aguero (for the gazillionth time) even though he's never returned more than a 6 for me. Even bargain basement Le Fondre has returned better the few times I played him.

I got Fletcher in for a 4 game stretch, the last of those is today. Gonna downgrade and then possibly upgrade Fellaini depending on how he does today.

I thinking Lambert, Benteke, or Le Fondre.

How about Sturridge for the DGW if you have enough cash? I'm getting him in for Fletcher and then probably switch to Benteke after.
