Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gerrard must have made a dozen interceptions/clearances at this stage

Shez is just all over the place in goal. Awful keeper.

He came out and closed a gap left by the defence and forced the attacker into making the wrong choice.

Sounds like good goalkeeping if you ask me.

Knee-jerk comment. He's not in the best form at the moment but he's not an awful keeper.

He's doing the right things and has created a few chances himself. If he had confidence, he would be lethal in the attacking role.

Great first half, should be 2 or 3 up. Is Diaby on the Arsenal bench?

Ànyone notice a bit more pragmatism in the Liverpool play today? not afraid to put the foot through it tonight

Suarez and Henderson know we should be more ahead

Cracking first half. I thought we were far too open in the first ten minutes, but we've really started to tighten things up defensively since then. We really should have taken one of the other chances we got, but overall, you can't fault the commitment of the players.

Exactly, and that will come with time.

Getting criticised here for a misplaced pass and then a difficult shot not going in is ridiculous.

Two former spurs players, one of whom is a former Liverpool player. Should be a nice unbiased analysis from Sky then

Sure you have Martin Tyler and Alan Smith so its evened out.

Why not turn it to the Barca match at half time, dont have to listen to Glenn and Jamie then

    Badly need this.

Hopefully we don't replicate the Britannia performance in the 2nd half.

Lucas looks very rusty out there, i can see him being subbed for Allen around the hour mark, Henderson playing very well . After we scored im glad we weathered the Arsenal storm , we still have another goal in us i feel.

Awful game this, really poor standard. Both teams comical in defence.

    ..................and breath!

There is no way on Gods Earth Liverpool are going to keep Arsenal out for another 45 minutes. But Arsenal look incredibly vulnerable.

Should Liverpool stick or twist? I'd be tempted to drop a striker and bring on (whisper it) Allen to add absorption in the middle.

With the amount of space Henderson got I would of expected him to more than just an assist from that first half.
Suarez workibg very hard on the left.
    Gerrad and Carra playing well.
Reina keeping it 1-0 and showing he can still do it.

    I dunno Aresnal didnt score.

I think Henderson is only keeping that position warm for Coutinho tbh!

Well Ramsey's having a stormer, pity he has 5 donkeys behind him.

I can see us regretting not taking another of those chances. Arsenal can't be that incompetent in the second half surely.

    Liverpools just slightly better!

    Loads more goals in this

    This sums it up nicely.

Wisdom looks awkward tonight. I'd swap him out for Enrique and let Johnson get at Santos and Luis and Enrique could do some damage on the other wing.

Lucas does look a bit lost althought he has shown glimpses of his old self.

Our defence and midfield are sitting far to deep and we're letting them come at us again and again.

Very very lucky to still be winning this.

First row worked for me eventually in case anyone is having problems. I had to open it in Firefox before it would work in Chrome. First thing I saw when I got it working was Santos. ON the pitch. Still thought the stream was broken.

Park the bus, counter attack, Sturridge 2:0 ;)

I think our setup is fine. If we put another defensive player on, I can see us just getting stuck in our own half and maybe losing the match. Much better to stay as we are, and use Downing, Hendo and Suarez to receive the ball on the counter and hopefully give Sturridge a chance.

Comical defending to concede the goal, far too often it's still happening. Slip by Sagna, Vermaelen fails to clear, Mert fails to get a block in. They've steadied since a little but still look incredibly vulnerable and Santos only makes that worse.

On the other side of the coin Cazorla, Wilshere and Walcott have looked good and the link up play for some of the chances created was quality at times.

Need to come flying out of the traps and take some of the chances that will surely come our way.

Prediction 2-2 but praying for 3-1

    Come on Arsenal!
