Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can United open up a 7 point gap again ?

Don't think its live in the UK/Ireland so streams it is unless you live elsewhere like me. :)

    Guess for Utd team...

    De Gea

    Rafael
    Ferdinand
    Vidic
    Evra

    Nani
    Carrick
    Cleverley
    Kagawa

    Rooney
    van Persie

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21156075
Manchester United's Robin van Persie is set to return to the starting line-up after being rested in the FA Cup.
Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand will also come back in, but winger Ashley Young (knee) and defender Jonny Evans (hamstring) remain sidelined.
Southampton could welcome club captain Adam Lallana back after missing almost two months with knee ligament damage.
Jose Fonte and Guly Do Prado (both knee) are absent but new signing Vegard Forren is in line to make his debut.

Giggs scores v Southampton almost 20 years ago (feb 93). Repeat tonight ?

    Don't think Nani will start.

I'd say Valencia and Kagawa -- Ya never know Giggs might even start.

Rest of the team i agree with.

    I'm hoping for a nice 3/4 - 0 win ;)

At this stage I'd prefer Giggs to Valencia at least if its for a 20/30 min cameo in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't mind Anderson starting either keeping Carrick or Cleverley on the bench for the sake of a little rotation

I'd hope Giggs gets playing these home ties with bottom teams. Need him to get that league goal ;)

Given City dropped points last night, I think it's vital we win this by a comfortable margin tonight...

Have to say Anderson's passing has been top class this season... pity he can't last 90 minutes.

Would like to see him start.

That is one hell of an attacking team. I expect goals for both sides.

Would of preferred Nani instead of Danny on the wing. Apart from that I'm happy.

This could really blow up in Fergie's face. This team could easily crash and burn with too many players taking up the same positions. I suppose Southampton at home is the game to do it but there's going to be so many players in the hole and nobody with any proven ability out wide.

Hope we line up as 4-2-3-1.That would be my preferred formation but with Nani starting instead of Welbeck.

In fairness that was shocking from De Gea, regardless of Carrick's initial mistake. He bottled it.

    Rooney not greedy enough there.

That pass back from Carrick was absolute suicide, and the worst thing about that is David will probably get all the stick for it; undeservedly. Disappointing from Carrick, great season from him so far, just a costly mistake.

It looks like he could have used his hands. He does deserve the blame for that, along with Carrick. Such a **** start to the match.

I know you are, so you know the situation with the pitch so don't know what your expecting!

It was a f**king ridiculous pass drom Carrick but DeGea didn't even try to kick it. He had time to put a boot through it. He f**ked up too in fairness.

    Awful all round.
