Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone see Mancini at the Arsenal game?! If that's his disguise hat it's not very inconspicuous!

Jesus Kagawa just rarely if ever gives that ball away !! Nearly every pass is a similar straight forward one as well. You almost feel soon as he gets it he will use it smartly each and every time !!

Outside the horrendous mistake from Carrick 2 minutes in, that was a good game from United so far. Kagawa has been sexy, and a Rooney hatrick would be great to see and get him back on form.

Even the crossfield pass from Puncheon (?) at the end there that he was stretching to reach. He still managed to head it to a team mate. He's amazing in that respect.

Play Kagawa in a formation that suits his game & don't be afraid to give him the ball & he'll do amazing things.

Cant really blame DDG for the goal.Carrick gave a horrendous backpass .not much he could do about it.

It's nights like these my subscription to polish satellite tv comes in handy and I can watch it on Canal+Gol. Pity I can't understand the commentary though.

Really? I thought it was a 50/50 and Rodriguez wanted it more. Sloppy from Carrick but worryingly familiar from De Gea.

If De Gea had gone at it more, he likely would have been sent off though

Welbeck is beyond a pity .

This is turning into a typical United second half :(

We need to calm down and retain the ball. Bring on Cleverley.

this is brutal stuff from utd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,364 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

We really need to sort our shit out. Conceding is looking all the more likely.

    Ah f**k De Gea...

True, very familiar sloppy play from us,it's only Southampton FFS.

Wellbeck looks clueless out there tonight.

Even when I turn the sound off on the stream it still finds ways to annoy me, twitter question asking when Fergie's going to admit he's made a mistake with De Gea

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,139 ✭✭✭Red Crow

Welbeck off please. Not working hard at all. Turned around there and gave up without a care.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

At the minute this is like playing FIFA then giving the controller to your missus.

this game sums up why we don't have a hope against real madrid

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,612 ✭✭✭uncleoswald

I disagree, the ball was there to be won cleanly. If anything Rodriguez was more in danger of conceding a foul.

It's like the Spurs goal, defensive errors do not absolve De Gea of blame.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

Need to cut down the Hollywood passes and just keep the ball.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,139 ✭✭✭Red Crow

    What a stupid change

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

guess we're going MORE defensive

don't have anyone who can break up play, Carrick is the only one who does it but he relies on interceptions/bad passes to get the ball.
then when he does get it hes doesn't push forward, he rarely moves forward with the ball he remains static looking for a pass, which he is very good at, but when we are getting pressed into our half constantly I'd like to see him come forward with it too.

Rafael to RB and Jones to midfield so.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,796 ✭✭✭✭Pudsy33

Kagawa coming off, should be Welbeck. Kagawa can hold onto the ball, weird change

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,391 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Why take off Kagawa when Welbeck is having such a nightmare?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

    Anderson off for Rafael.

    Welbeck just isn't United quality.
