Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think the pitch is somewhat to blame also, slowed Uniteds game down to a snails pace

one of the worst performances of the year .great to get the 3 points but Southampton deserved a point.Need to up the ante big time.No excuses, I think we have a full strength squad now to pick from.

Anyone who even mentions the word champions at this stage can feck off :pac:

The way we are falling apart in second half of games at times lately is a serious issue and we are gonna get caught out big time sooner then later.

If it wasnt for Vidic that save from De Gea and maybe a slight lack of cutting edge in attack from Southampton that could very well of been another screw up that should never happened.

Awful performance in that second half. Lucky to get the points in the end. It would have been hard to begrudge Southampton the draw.

But didn't seem to affect Southampton who passed us off the field for large parts of the 2nd half.

    At least we won.......just.

Another game out of the way & 3 more points.

Pitch was the same for both teams, and Southampton were not playing at "a snails pace" so that excuse doesn't watch

Yes, that was f*cking gash, but it's a very, very important step towards #20.

Bit worrying that when Michael Carrick doesn't play well the midfield doesn't perform ... at all! How many passes were missed in the second half like? Shocking

He didn't play well cause he was pressed on the ball, he's always been like that.
When he's given lots of time hes very effective but vs top European teams he has always been found out. I like Carrick, hes a good player but that major flaw in his game is undeniable imo

Agreed. Barca, especially, absolutely pissed all over him at Wembley when they pressed high up the pitch.
