Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

FIS and jobseekers

    Just got letter from fis saying I need to close my job seekers claim and let them know and that I would be better off on fis.I have to let them know I presume a letter from dole office because fis sent me an envelope to post back before 28 of feb..Anyone had this happen? How long before they sort claim out.Cant really afford to be without any money at all..I was told they would just deduct my job seekers from my fis with no break in payment.Got excited when I saw letter now I'm in tears.Really relying in back money.No oil since end of December.Just deflated now

    Its just a matter of getting your jobseekers closed and notifying FIS. You can notify them by post, phone or email. FIS will have you in payment within a few days of the jobseekers closing so you usually dont miss a week without a social welfare payment. You will get fis arrears minus what is owed back to jobseekers.

    Once you close your jobseekers claim give FIS a ring,it should be done straight away.
