Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Refurbished iPod Touch

I bought a refurbished 32gb iPod Touch from Apple. I had big problems in getting it due to an error with their ordering system, but I got there in the end.

Anyway, when I plug it into iTunes for the first time, 500mb is noted as being utilised under "Misc" which I assume is for the calendar, camera, standard apps that arrive with the iPod. It then tells me that there is 28gb free space.

I called to ask why the capacity of the iPod is just 28.5gb, even though it is refurbished I would expect it to have full capacity.

The person I spoke with told me the pre-loaded calendar, itunes etc are taking up the missing 3.5gb, I asked what the "Misc" 0.5mb is taken up with and she couldnt tell me. Apparently if I bought a brand new ipod / iphone / ipad, a similar percentage of storage would be missing.

This doesnt sound right to me (perhaps down to me calling 5 mins before they close) - has anyone come across this before? Surely if something is using up capacity, it would be listed as an allocation of the full 32gb?
