    Hi im just wondering does anyone no of anybody around waterford city that could reupholstry a car steering wheel in leather for me?

    Might be cheaper looking at a few scrap yards for a replacement cos it may cost a bit, then again ye never know with the prices some SCRAP yards charge, drop into some car body shops and they may know people in the trade, theres a guy who does bodywork in six cross roads, okeefe i think his name is, hed surely know people in the business and may advise you on who to go to, Pascal Power (never answers his phone) or the other scrap yard in Hugginstown might be your best bet! check donedeal aswell theres always parts and cars being scrapped there too!

    there,s a guy up in castlecomer does leather interiours, iv seen his work and he,s top notch, dont know if he can do complete steering wheels but he has done stitching on a steering wheel to match the interiour in a mates car, ill try get his number for ya.

    There was a crowd over in ferrybank called autotrim, I've heard good reports about them but have never used them myself.

    I know its not waterford but if you wanted to send it to dublin theres a place called nolan autocare in bluebell that does all sorts of car / bike upholstery and hes a1, might be worth a phonecall

    Try Oldcourt Saddlery over in Grannagh Bus Pk. I know they do mostly horse gear but he is a specialist in working with leather from doing saddles and bridles etc.
