Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Delighted to find a place to discover and share original music. Sher I only just arrived here, but still.

    ---

The band started out in 2010 when my first band started to drift apart. Colm, the guitarist of TBS (and close friend of mine), had just dusted himself off from the wreckage of his old band also. He brought along his pal Joe, who's bass slapping abilities I was taken with, right from the off.

The three of us, under the very original pseudonym of CJC, started to practice away in various nooks around Cork city & county. Carrignavar, Watergrasshill and Blackrock were some of the settings where we began to form our sound. Today, we have a tidy spot in Cork Rehearsal Studios in Blackpool, which is tastefully referred to by us (me) as "The Bat-cave". Along the way, I recruited an old band mate to take the microphone. His passion for alcohol and general hedonism, paired with an incredible way with words, were the final pieces of the puzzle.

With influences ranging from a number of genres (including Dub, Rockabilly, Folk, Grunge/ Alt. Rock) the road to musical "synchronicity" was at times a long one, but through late night banter and a mutual affection for Wine Gums, we have all learned to communicate with each other in the exciting dialect of "Jams".

Every song has a story, every beat has its motivation, every riff has a facial expression and most important of all, every man has his purpose. Our shared goal, is to move the mind and the feet. Check out the links below.
