Some nice looking precipitation coming in from the North West/West

Dew points around Dublin are dropping below 0c

Could be something good going to happen, I'm putting on the kettle

There was snow in Waterford City about 30 mins ago, very wet snow, but still snow :)

Only thing left here (sligo) is a little dusting of hail underneath the odd garden hedge. Even if heavier snow arrives later cant see it sticking. Ground far to wet.

That nice big blob over Longford looks like it's heading straight for Dublin, about an hour by my timing...

Anyone in Longford get a good pasting in the last 15 mins ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 203 ✭✭Tornando9

A decent covering here in Kildare. The station is reporting a nice steady drop in temps so whatever falls should stick for a while.

Currently 0.7°c and Dewpoint of -0.5°c

Showers appear to be rapidly evaporating now before they reach the east coast.

Good few showers ready to pile into Dublin if they can stay intact.

Any reports from say Longford? Seems you could be getting a good covering in the Midlands

Nice covering here in Longford now. Has stopped at the minute but was coming down nicely the last while
