Now we have hailstones, sleet/snow and a dash of lightning for good measure. Could barely open the front door with the wind.

Hailstones are sticking, not sure about the rest.

feck the vermin, reset camera as a lampost cam and hardwired it instead of wireless working a bit better.

I disagree. The one you had your eye on for North Dublin did, but check out the ones to the north and south, and check out the satellite, it looks like a temporary lull. Next hour will tell us for sure ;)

A FLASH AMBER warning for Heavy Snow & Thunderstorms has been issued for Northern Ireland.

Heavy snow showers are affecting many areas and is leading to accumulations of 5 - 10 cm. This may cause some difficult driving conditions especially over higher level routes.

Blizzard conditions are also likely due to high wind gusts.

Not far from me at all. I am yellow road area. Still very light snow here.

No not far at all, just across some hills. The snow stopped a little while ago and it will not be melting, current temperature 0.1C.

Last report from Cork for the evening, no snow, just rain, if there is snow overnight, won't know much about it at this stage.
