mobile with skype capability

    Hi im looking for the most basic phone I can get but that has skype capability.

    Its for my elderly parents so needs to be easy to use, can't be a touch screen.

    Im finding it difficult to find one, any ideas?

    Does it need to have video calls or will just voice do?

    Just voice as we can use the computer for video calling

    Have you a network preference or do you want it sim free?

    Or would you buy second-hand from adverts.ie or similar?

    Parents are in uk and I think they are on orange. I have no prob buying new or second hand as long as it can be used for skype and is easy to use:)

    Have you consudered an iPhone? I know it's got a touch screen but its quite simple to use.

    They provide an app download for Skype which will meet your requirements

    It would be wasted on them !

    They can only just manage to text on the phones theyve got;)
    Im trying to look at the easiest option for cutting my phone bills but still allowing them to phone me with no charge as they do at the minute
