I'd go for Cris Carter, Bill Parcells , Charles Haley, Tim Brown, and AN other.

Also two senior finalists are selected for a total class of seven at most.
Class is being announced at 10:30 pm Irish time.

Jon Ogden was the prototype of a top five draft choice-a franchise cornerstone who always performed at an elite level.

I've said for the last couple of years that how Charles Haley isnt in the Hall is beyond me and hopefully that's put right this evening.

I'd like Carter to get in but as long as one of Carter, Reed and Brown gets in I'll be delighted. Hopefully when one gets in the votes stop being split between them and they stand a better chance.

Warren Sapp was a dominant DT and defensive leader on one of the teams that consistently turned out one of the best defences in football for the better part of his career

I'm hoping that Pacells gets in but I'd love to see Eddie DeBartolo get elected too but I cant see the voters giving Eddie the vote as a non player when Parcells is available. There's no way that a coach and owner get elected the same way when there's such a logjam already

For the remaining modern day enshrinee I think it will be either between Strahan or Will Shields.

Looking at my list I have four linemen and a non player so there's no chance Im going to be right!

Shocked strahan didn't get in but I'm glad chris carter did if he didn't soon he would have been thrown aside

Disappointed for Reed not to get in (being a Bills fan and all). But really glad for Carter & Sapp though. Carter was a better than Reed but I do think that both should've been in years ago

    Delighted for Sapp.

He's f-ed up a lot in his life, but on the field he was a beast.

He was the first line in that feared Tampa Defence that brought Tampa their only SB.

Congrats to Carter as well. Taken a liking to him since watching the America's Game (Missing Rings) with the Vikings.

Chris berman is right about how fitting it is that the ravens first draft pick is their first HOFer.

And Dave Robinson is well overdue into the hall.
