W8 safe mode with networking problem

    hi guys. i used this guide http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/start-windows-8-in-safe-mode/ to get into safe mode. when i click f5 to get into safe mode WITH networking. it restarts and in safe mode but i cannot access the internet. can anyone help me out?


    in short...with networking button doesnt work

    Are you using wifi? Try wired if feasible. It could be Windows isn't loading the wlan driver for whatever reason.

    yep i am. ill give it a go.

    the connection thing on bottom right has a red X through it i should add
