Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

Anyone know where I might pick up a good handheld compressor for inflating the tyres on my bike.

Something I can plug into a standard socket preferably.

    Thanks

the applegreen garages have them for a tenner in the basket inside the doors, the gauges on them might be arse about face but they do the job-otherwise its the motor factors for ya. that is if its a 12v socket you're talking about....

If you have the room on the bike for carrying it constantly they are very handy, other wise just get the compressed gas in the puncture kits. And use the compressor on long trips.

If you're gonna be working from home I'd recommend a bicycle track track pump from a bicycle shop or Halfords, they're the dogs bollox tbh and if you're fearful of wrong readings pick up a tyre presure gauge.

But honestly the bicycle track pump works great, just make sure it has the mountain bike type tyre valve and you're good to go!.
