    Hi,
As Biko said Best (X) things in Galway is over 2 years old. So maybe it's time to create a new one.

So if you have a favourite thing in Galway let us know here. After some time I'll add up the 'votes' and hopefully it'll become another sticky.

I'll get the ball rolling with some of my favs-
Best Brownie- Treat cafe (Claregalway and Lackagh)
Best sandwich- Cellar Cajun Spiced Chicken Ciabatta at The Cellar (according to Hellmann's Sandwich Challenge)
Best fast food pizza- Napoli (next to Neachtains)
Best place to sit and people watch: outside Neachtains, Eyre Square

    Some other suggestions:
best pub to watch sports ?
    Best nachos ?

    Cheers,
    Pa.

I was in Galway last weekend. The weather was terrible (wasn't expecting different though), but really loved spending time in Neachtains bar. What a lovely place.

+1million for Lucks. Excellent veggie stuff too as herself is a vegetarian.
Good beers in Salt House but way overpriced except for their own Oslo brews.
Home Plate used to have best vegetarian breakfast in town but I keep forgetting to go down there.

    Just renamed recently.

It will still be known as MacIsaac's for a long time yet!

    Or next to The Lisheen!

Strangely enough a few of us locals seem to call it Lucks naturally. I actually find it wierd myself as I still say Roches, Moones, Taylors, the New Bridge etc. and have to rethink when I get a funny look from somebody who wasn't around 'back then'.

Either the pair in Lucks brought a bit of good subliminal marketing back with them or McIssacs was a silly name in the first place.
