Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi folks

I have trawled the net but can't find good advice.

A friend of mine is looking for my help. He has an iPhone 4 which was originally linked to an iTunes account on a laptop which has died a death. He has no music on his phone so there's no worries there.

He wants to set up the iTunes account on a new laptop.

The other problem is that he is not techy at all, so he doesn't know whether the account was set up in his name, his wifes name, credit card account details etc etc.

Can I simply download iTunes onto his new laptop, and sync his iPhone to this account?

He has loads of business contacts on his phone so I don't want to plug his phone in and find that I have wiped his entire phone!

All advice appreciated.
