I'd sub out Orton and have HHH v Broomstick. 4 stars guaranteed :pac:

No way!! HHH would never put the Broomstick over!

Holy crap, just watching Raw now, Punk's on fire in the opening promo! He's far better without the strap!

So what would be better at the EC or Mania PPV then Miz V The Chair or Miz V Lesnar :p

    Tag Team Match

Miz & Ric Flair vs The Chair & Flairs Jacket

I actually think Ric Flair and The Miz would be good to have associated with each other for a while. I think The Miz has really been stepping up to the plate since he became a babyface.

Flair and Miz on Miz TV was cringeworthy bad whereas this week Miz actually come across well as a face, could be as he was against heel heat magnets Heyman and Vickie and then had Lesnar's beatdown :p

Imo, it's not who he is up against. He was up against Punk a few weeks back and looked like an idiot, despite Punk getting tonnes of heat.

What made him look good on Raw this week was he didn't run away from the fight. It was the booking of his character, not who he was booked with. He didn't run from Lesnar, and even when he got hit down, he jumped back up and went after Lesnar again. That's how you book a credible face!

I think they could really light a fire under Miz as a credible face if they have him wrestle Brock at EC. You could book Brock to win but have Miz put in a real gutsy showing where he refuses to die and keeps on fighting. Have Brock kind of underestimate him at the start but eventually have to take him seriously and pull out some big moves to put him away.

It worked well for Del Rio recently. A similar scenario to Taker vs Jeff Hardy in that ladder match they had around 2003. I'm actually starting to buy Miz as a face and this could really seal the deal.

Miz is awful as a face imo,the only way I want to see him asociated with Brock again is Brock ripping off his head and feasting on Miz's miniscule brain.

I really, REALLY like this idea.

Give Brock a warm-up match where he destroys a guy, but have Miz put up a really "never-say-die" fight, where he just keeps getting up and up. Could be a perfect example of a loss doing wonders for a guy. Have him blade as well maybe, cause it's an example of where a bloody beatdown would really add to the moment.

Then, a few months down the line, you can do a rematch (say at Summerslam or the likes) where Miz gets his chance at redemption, and possibly use it to launch him into the stratosphere as a face...

Kinda hurts the never say die attitude when Brock ran through him in about a minute this week.....was hoping to see Heyman and Vickie dance when they bowed their heads which made me think of Too Cool again.

Loved Punk walking through the back only for Striker to appear to ask questions and Punk dropping the if you were sorry you wouldn't interrupt me line. Like they were making fun of his reputation for telling idiot fans that hassle him where to go.

I would love to see Orton go heel again now and turn it right up like Punk has lately. Back to the days Edge was heeling it up on Smackdown while Randy was the man on RAW.

But its not that similar really, Jeff was always an awesome babyface with charisma to burn, Miz not so much sadly.

Quite liked Raw myself as well, fast forwarded Orton v Barrett seen it to many times and will probably see it a million more times before Mania.

Marked hard for the return of henry as well.

Deperessing to see they have given Del Rio's AGGRESSIVE '~!!! gimmick to Swagger as well, I expect it will be Gabriel or Kofi squashed next by him.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

has Flair been teaching him that too?

Something else I wanted to comment on; I think Brad Maddox deserves a lot of credit for his genuinely unsettling promo on Raw. Hope he doesn't get forgotten about moving forward, I find him quite charismatic and it'd be good to see him in action.

Yes, that segment was very cringeworthy. However, I still think that they could be associated with each other and it might look well on television for a little while.

What would you do with him Palo?

Now that's a good question. I'd either book him as genuinely deluded, a bit like the Hurricane, taking pretty bad beatings but keeping coming back, or have him feud with Heyman in terms of being devious and outsmarting him, without necessarily wrestling much. Just off the top of my head. (Thank god I'm not a booker!)

    Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter
In regards to WWE running into issues with the company’s official app crashing during RAW on Monday night, it was indeed legitimate and overloaded with too many votes. When WWE had booked the angle for the show the impression was that Randy Orton would win when stacked up against Rey Mysterio and the returning Chris Jericho. Mysterio vs. Daniel Bryan was always the plan and WWE instead prepared back ups for Orton and Jericho.

Jericho vs. Wade Barrett was originally booked with Jericho going over and CM Punk vs. Orton was originally booked with Punk going over. When Jericho ended up getting 57% of the vote, he had already worked out a match with Barrett and was then told as the show was live that he would be working with Punk instead. While the show was airing live, Jericho and Punk only had a very short amount of time to get a match put together.

I thought Jericho was a lock to win the vote, np idea what made them think otherwise.

same here, Y2J was always winning but considering they had to do it quick they put on a hell of a match
