    It's a "Best before" date, not a "Use by" date. Eat it, porridge doesn't go off :)

    It would depend on how it was stored, kitchen hygiene etc, and it's for that reason among others the forum charter doesn't allow advice on food safety to be given or sought. I personally have used porridge oats past their best before date but only you will know if yours are ok.
