Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anybody know of a way of checking the video quality of Netflix through the app on the Apple TV?

    Thanks,

Why not just log in through the ATV in built Netflix app?

Apologies I mean the inbuilt app - check to see if you are getting the HD stream.
Through Xbox etc - you can check the video quality

Not sure if you can or how to check, but if you have ATV1 or 2 it won't be HD anyway as only ATV3 is HD.

    ATV2 is 720p
    ATV3 is 1080p

True, I always thought that "real" HD was 1080 and up, but just did some googling and read that 720p is officially HD as well...

you'll only ever get 720p through the ATV's (even if you have a 3rd generation ATV) netflix app unless your ISP supports netflix superHD. to see if your ISP supports it go here - https://signup.netflix.com/superhd

I should add here, the netflix app will display a superHD icon on content that will be 1080p, and just a standard HD icon on 720p content.

It will send the best quality depending on your data. You can also specify which quality you prefer on the website. Not the apps. It's more for data use.
