    I'm looking to buy a new phone for about 300 euro. i was looking at the

    Htc desire x
    samsung galaxy ace 2
    sony xperia j

    Can anyone recommend one?

    I recommend the Motorola RAZR i. Really good specs, a 4.3 inch screen in a body no bigger than an iPhone and almost pure android with a few small additions. Likely to be faster than any of the phones you listed above and jellybean is on the way for it soon.

    Not sure of the price but won't be too far off your budget I'd say.
