Is there any home automation commands with the GSM-Q for heating etc. I'm sure I read somewhere you could text your heating to come on for an hour

Yes there is. The outputs are on the 10/70 rather than the GSM.

I'm PMing you the manual. That gives you the full list of commands.
You can also text help to the system & it will send you back a list.

Hi does anyone know if you can turn on your heating from the gsm-q on the hkc or is it just the gsm-p that you can do it on and can you turn lights on also. Many thanks in advance. I know which relay to get.

The operation commands are mostly the same.
Turn on heat: (user code) (space) (heat) (space) (1h)

It can be done on both. The the GSM-Q will give you more options. Also it will allow you add more outputs if connected to the 10/70 for other devices.

If you go into the outputs menu, user output, output name you can name the output.
If you have zoned heat you can do the same, heat 1, heat 2 and so on.

You can have 217 outputs on the 10/70.
Should be more than enough for any project :)

I can't find any info in any of the manuals for the 1h command?

I can't find any info in any of the manuals for the 1h command?

If you are using the commands to set the time of the output:

    S equals seconds
    M equals minutes
    H equals hours.

After this time the manual will return to a normal state.

There are two programmable outputs located on the board.

I take it you can take the ground wire off any of the -

The commands that worked for me were:

(user code) (space) (heat) (space) (on) (space) (1h)
(user code) (space) (heat) (space) (off) (space) (1h)
(user code) (space) (heat) = To see current status

Positive comes off the + on the 12 V
Negative - goes into the output.

Can you get the 217 outputs from them 2 connections or do you need to buy another part and finally are the outputs negative or positive trigger. Thanks

No, there are two programmable outputs on the board. How many you want to switch? Its a negative trigger.

With 4 of them you can program them as you wish, then for the other call it light or if a timed pulse is needed call it pulse gate.
