    I haven't played the Sims since well prob Sims 1 haha, is the Sims 3 any good? Is it worth getting and more importantly can an old schooler like myself pick up the gameplay handy enough?

    I've had Sims 2 for years so I might actually buy this. Only thing is is that Sims 4 has been announced now so maybe it won't be worth the bother.

    I've a load of expansion packs, one of my favourite is the open for business one, its a pity you can't get that in Sims 3 though :(

    Gosh do I remember the Sims (first version)..

    To be honest, with all the glitches they're gonna have with 4, (as they've had with every sims game >.< ..) I'd wait a year after it's out before buying.. plus there will be packs and such out then too.

    There is something similar to OFB, which is Ambitions.

    Ok not really business like but it's alright. And with mods, you can control multiple families and pretty much control who's in what job etc.

    There's a mod that attempts to copy OFB as well.

    I wouldn't hold your breath though. Into the Future , I think is meant to be the next and last EP. ..but who knows.
