Killaloe - accommodation

Hi all,
Just looking for smoe advice for accommodation in Killaloe this weekend. May be one or two nights not sure yet. Hotels, B&Bs or otherwise...

Also any recommendations on what to get up to? Walks/hikes, scenary etc maybe some bike trails. Heard lots of great things about the place and been meaning to visit for a while now. Advice on good places for food and a pint in the evening would be welcome also.

Was going to suggest going up to Fr Macs Cross & the Millennium Cross, so I did a Google search to try and find some more info and found this.

For food you have a lot of choice, but if you gave an idea of budget that might help.
You have Goosers, Mollys, Flannagans or The Cherry Tree.

FYI - These are all in Ballina, on the Tipperary side and not in Killaloe on the Clare side.

I'd highly recommend taking the short drive out to 'The Lookout', it is a few miles outside Ballina on the Portroe Road. The views over Lough Derg are breathtaking! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbRqTOCqdr0

You could also visit Garrykennedy, Larkin's Pub is a nice spot for lunch.
