Gerrard starts but appears to be deep in midfield again. In fairness though, he started there against West Brom and still got forward plenty.

Will be interesting to see how Coutinho does. He looked decent for the few minutes he got on Monday.

yep suarez is in the hole as a result, his best position i think personally(have never seen him as a natural out-and-out striker). swansea for sure will defend deep and try to nick something on the counter. can see it being a low scoring game

Aguero just won and then scored a peno in the Cup. Interesting.

Aguero will always start when fit. Tevez/Dzeko could be rotated IMO.

That could be a good thing if Pool run riot.

Lambert is pretty much undroppable IMO, he's making me not bother getting Fellaini.

Fecking Lambert. I tried a few weeks ago to convince people on here that he was one of the best strikers in the game. Then, foolishly, I went and dropped him.

Every BBC update so far has been about Suarez or Sturridge going close :(

Hopefully that's the start of the rout but the end of Stevie G's involvement.

    He's my key differential too.

Could do with Swansea scoring and Sturridge having a quiet game. Can't imagine Gerrard will get much more from this.

Happy with this so far. Have Suarez and Gerrard (C) so that penalty gave me a nice 13 points. It definitely looks like there's a few more goals to come.

If only he had scored that peno against WBA... ... What a week I'd be getting !

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

King Kenny predicted 3-0 and a Suarez double pre match so let's hope the Suarez double is still to come.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭roryc

On 70 points, should hit 80 the way this match is going. Had Gerrard scored that penalty last week I'd be on close to 110. The realistic average for decent players would definitely be 100+

Damn you Stevie you pr*ck tease

Nice to see he's back to his usual form after fooling everybody with his burst of goals in his first couple of games.

Two 4-0s in the cup ties. Would it be asking too much of Luis and the lads to make it three?
