    HI,
I'm a newbie who would like to know how to incorporate a company in Ireland.
I am a US/Irish citizen but live full-time in US.

    1. What forms must I use to incorporate into a Limited Liability Company(LLC) in Ireland?
    2. What are the filing fees for these forms and where do I get the forms and then submit them?
    3. How do I setup another Irish company off-shore in Cayman Islands or Bermuda(Double Irish) concept?
Would like to know the forms/cost for this concept?
    4. How do I create a shell company in the Netherlands(Dutch Sandwich), get forms and fee costs for this concept?

    Thanks

Information on registering a limited company is available from the companies registration office:

    http://www.cro.ie/ena/business-registration-company.aspx

Notes that there are specific residency requirements for at least one of the directors.

If you're trying to operate a Double Irish (Dutch Sandwich) strategy I would strongly suggest you talk to an Irish tax consultant. This type of operation is typically run for the benefit of major multinational corporations and also necessitates an operation somewhere like the Caymen Islands/Bermuda. The rules under which this works are very specific, any mistakes are likely to cost you dearly in terms of tax liability to the IRS.

Get professional advice. Unless your tax saving are going to be very very substantial I would imagine the costs of running this kind of strategy are going to outweigh the potential savings.

    Hi

You need to get proper advise regarding this structure as it is very aggressive (and arguably probably no longer works). Setting it up yourself is not just a case of filing a few forms in the CRO etc. It is definately not a DIY job and you are certainly not going to get proper answers here.

Google and microsoft paid millions for this structure and no doubt continue to pay millions to maintain it against anti-avoidence. So unless you have a lot of money to shelter and are prepared to spend decent money getting very specialist tax advise both in Ireland and in the US you are wasting your time.

Thread is closed for your own safety.

    Best Regards
