Customs fees for items ordered from the US

I've ordered something from footlocker in the states, and I was wondering can I expect to pay a hefty cutoms charge before I get my parcel. Anyone got any ideas the way the operate and how they deal with such matters?

My invoice total was $255.

Add on an additional handling fee depending on the delivery option used. Can vary from €6-€15.

It depends some parcels can slip through. I bought a replica gun from Arizona a few years ago and no custom fees, this year I got a t shirt and had to pay €13 to customs for that.

yeah the actual price of the item is $200, $55 for postage.
