Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Euro Trip: Costs and Recommendations

My car insurance is up next month and I'm thinking of switching back to two wheels and heading to Europe for a month this summer.

My pesky restriction isn't up until September and I'm looking for something in and around 600cc; I had a CBF500 which I now regret selling.

I ideally want to spend no more than €2500 on a bike and, to be honest, if I could get something for under €2000 it'd be ideal. I was looking at Suzuki SV650's as a possibility; I prefer the newer models but the price is a bit off putting.

If anyone who's done a trip to Europe before could give me an idea of costs that's be great. I'd probably look at hostels and maybe even camping out a few nights. Any suggestions or recommendations would be most welcome.

    Cheers.

fuel and tolls are the big expense we found last year.

accommodation can be pricey depending on the area.

other than that, a euro trip is awesome.

not sure the seating position of the sv would be great for a long trip.. also small fuel tank.
