    Does anyone know of anywhere that repairs X-Boxes? The 3 red lights problem in particular....

    There is a console repair place on main street.

    Just wondering though how old is the xbox and you can get kits online to fix it yourself. Also a lot of time the fix is only temporary you get a few more months then you can have the same issue again

    Oh dear, the RRoD?

    How old is it? Xboxs are notorious for failing like that, especially early ones.

    think they only extended the warranty by an extra year or 2.

    IIRC mine RROD'd 2 weeks after this was up

    Where's the console repair place on the main street in Letterkenny? The only place I know fixing consoles is the guy in Ramelton.

    its somewhere near the grill and china tower. IIRC just towards tesco roundabout down the hill from China Tower.

    They are a computer shop of sorts but on the window there is signs for console and phone repair too

    I've used them a few times and they've been good.

    They'll be upfront as to whether they can fix it or not so that they won't waste your time.

    Alphatronics is quite expensive for repairs as they have an instant 30 euro charge. VC computers up mountain top are very good and reliable. Much better service too.

    I brought my xbox to the place mentioned above and was told that they dont repair them anymore!

    The ramelton guy is great (and just made me tea) so I'll stick with him for all my rapairs :D
