Madrid playing well but United are playing some of the calmest football on the ground and working out of tight spaces I've seen from them in a long time and as is the story of the season Van Persie has been the best at it.

Cracking tie I have to say, very enjoyable. Dunno if its cos they wear white but Real seem to run very fast.

When Jose quits Madrid he real should take up a spot of Catalogue modelling, he and Alonso look like men who can wear jumpers and slacks.

Pretty much every other game before Christmas was like this for Utd in fairness. You could blame injuries then but there's no such excuses now. Rafael getting no help on the right at all, dunno what Rooney is doing out there.

That has to be close to the worst champions league first half performance ever by any player there by Rafael.

United look dangerous when they do attack but Real should be at least a goal up.

They aren't at all. Sure there have played some long balls and why not when Madrid look so uncomfortable under them but to compare to Ireland n the 90s is just bollix.

Jones has been very erratic but I think hes doing ok but nobody is closing down in midfield when Madrid are running at them. Rafael off he`ll end up gettin a red at this rate
