Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Referee is atrocious.
    This ref is useless

I'd say he's rarely reffed a tie of such high intensity and physicality and doesn't know how to deal with it.

Lustigs crossing has been great tonight.

edit: feck it!! he is injured

  • Registered Users Posts: 972 ✭✭✭snowblind

Celtic really wanted a penalty, but ref wouldn't give it! Atrocious! [end of sarcastic post]

I dont blame the ref for not giving the free kick there, iza had a bad dive in the 1st half and there wasn't a huge amount of contact there
Although i probably wud have gave it myself

Pretty sure he has reffed some El Classicos.

i am sure he has refereed the El Classico in Spain? cant get any more intense than that game.

The ref has been good in my opinion, he's not blowing up the game every 2 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,391 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

Fair enough, he doesn't seem to be able to make any calls that are close though.

    every chance..straight to Buffon.

Ref has been decent, let most things go. The kinda ref, u always want in charge...sensible.

Celtic need to attack more, hardly had a shot 2nd half. Need more crosses too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭ollie1

Omg he should have scored that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

Celtic really are playing the better football tonight, can see them scoring.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,391 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

That was the easiest chance you are ever likely to get at this level.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,889 ✭✭✭✭klose

Celtic are putting in some great crosses tonight

Granted he's letting the game flow but he's missed some easy calls.

Great, 20 mins of Italian time wasting coming up, instead of football.

    You browsing www.hotbabysitter.com?

Commentary is pretty fun. Cramps = typical Italian time wasting etc.
You'd think that after calling several Celtic falls dives, they would become "typical" too...

Here we go. 20 mins of time wasting coming up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,703 ✭✭✭allybhoy

    See Lichsteiner there haha

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,818 ✭✭✭swoody

if juve where playing a team that could finish they'd be 2 maybe 3 behind tonight with the chances celtic have had, they've really been poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

Good 5 mins wasted there, that + subs shud = at least 7 mins at the end

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

    Lichtsteiner you knob...

  • Registered Users Posts: 972 ✭✭✭snowblind

Do you guys ever go to the chipper at 3am and after waiting for 5 minutes start shouting about typical Italian time wasting?

Agreed, judging by tonight Juve are no great shapes I'd b confident that Celtic will score in Turin as long as we press high up the pitch again

Wilson's been good, swept up a lot of those through balls

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,391 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

    Great refereeing again

Sorry, but the amount of holding in the box in this game is ridiculous. Of course, certain folks on here will just talk about the "typical Celtic fans".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,703 ✭✭✭allybhoy

Again two arms around Brown just after being booked ridicolous

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,139 ✭✭✭Red Crow

What's the point in booking players when he's not going to blow for frees/penalties?

    Crap officiating

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,814 ✭✭✭Nemanja91

    Yesss. Great play.

  • Registered Users Posts: 972 ✭✭✭snowblind

    Typical Italian goal scoring. Disgrace.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,133 ✭✭✭Stevecw

oh no 0-2 thats that :(

    Game over, unfortunate really.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,139 ✭✭✭Red Crow

All over for Celtic now. A few teams would be happy to get Juve in the next round IMO

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,316 ✭✭✭✭A Dub in Glasgo

How people think that holding players in the box to stop them getting the ball is not a foul is beyond me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

    Very tasty lay off.

Heartbreaking for Celtic - better team all game, 2-0 down! Such is football - f*cked up game!

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

Lovely goal. The full-back was beaten far too easily there though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,593 ✭✭✭LowOdour

feck it...they take their chances when thet get them, something celtic couldnt do
