    Jointly owned by Ken Duce and Nick Brand, Nicken Builder was fastest in the semi-finals of the Guinness Trophy at Curraheen Park on Saturday. He was fast into stride and led all the way for a five length margin over Ryecourt Fox in 28.57.

    The other semi saw Jerome Crowley’s Ronnie Rumble win by a length and a half from On His Toes in 29.00.

    Draw for next Saturday’s Guinness Trophy final at Curraheen Park is:

    1 Ronnies Rumble;
    2 Bay City Impact;
    3 Ryecourt Fox;
    4 Nicken Builder;
    5 Jacksies Roar;
